In San Francisco California they are changing regulations on Marijuana Convictions

District Attorney George Gascon announced that his office will dismiss nearly 3,000 misdemeanor cases and review nearly 5,000 felony cases for possible action. Following this, they will seal the cases. This change of events will help many with employment and housing. The new law also permits anyone with marijuana convictions that wouldn’t have resulted in a crime (or a lessor one) under Proposition 64 to petition the court to dismiss the case. What does this mean for law changes in other states?
